Okunezato, a secluded town shrouded in myths, nostalgia, and eerie legends, becomes the stage for a mystery-filled summer. One year after her brother vanished there without a trace, college student Ichiko Hanamaki—encouraged by her childhood friend Hino—travels to the town to search for answers. Joining the “Okunezato Supernatural Club,” a group of curious young men and eccentric locals gathered at the Fuurinkan Hotel, Ichiko is soon entangled in strange incidents that peel back the town’s dark secrets.
